The IOA Summit 2020, due to take place from 7 to 13 June in Thailand, offers a whole week of education and informative debate about the world of optics. Today, the IOA can confirm the presence of Frederic Lefranc as part of its panel of expert speakers.
Frederic Lefranc’s career in the optical industry began when he joined Essilor International in 1982. There, holding several different positions over 10 years, Frederic contributed to the development of Essilor’s sales network in Europe.
After a few years out of the industry, in 1996 Frederic joined PPG, whose optical monomers and coatings include CR 39, Trivex, Tribrid, and more. He has been promoting the PPG product range to lens casters and laboratories throughout the EMEA, India, China and the South East Pacific ever since.
Frederic has a wealth of knowledge regarding lens materials, the international optical market, distribution channels and product promotion, and will be a fantastic addition to the 2020 IOA Summit programme.
