Dr Anna Yeo is Essilor AMERA’s Associate Director of Education and Professional Services, overseeing EPS activities in ASEAN.
After graduating with honours from a Bachelor of Optometry at UNSW, Dr Anna Yeo spent six years working as a private practitioner. Anna then joined Singapore Polytechnic as a teacher of optometry, all the while pursuing a Masters degree in Ocular Surface and Tear Film as well as a PhD in Myopia.
In 2013, Anna joined Essilor R&D as a Senior Vision Scientist, concentrating her research on adult myopia. Having been a member of the Contact Lens Practitioners Board for 12 years, as well as a member of the Optometry & Opticianary Board (OOB) and the Chairperson for the Credentials Committee for eight years, Anna has a deep understanding of optometry legislation in Singapore. She is currently a member of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for Singapore Polytechnic, and is also in charge of The International Vision Academy (TIVA).
