Photochromic lens unveiled in Paris

Manufacturers IOT launched a high-performance lens at the SILMO optical trade fair in Paris, 23 to 26 September.

Neochromes promise to deliver state-of-the-art photochromic performance. Materials from videos to point-of-sale displays, brochures and more are on offer.

IOT also produced a new measurement app, engineered to help opticians and lens sellers measure parameters and compare different lens designs and coatings.

A new generation of lenses and technologies were presented, including IOT Digital Ray-Path 2, Steady Methodology, Camber Steady Plus Progressive and Endless Steady Progressive.
