Four eye health professionals have been recognised for their contributions to the sector, featuring among the 1,127 award recipients on the 2019 Australia Day Honours List.
Sydney ophthalmologist Dr Craig Donaldson, Queensland ophthalmic nurse Mrs Lynette Grubwinkler, Moss Vale optometrist Dr Timothy McKinnon and Professor Robert Augusteyn were all made Members of the Order of Australia.
