This year, SILMO Paris coincides with the Rugby World Cup which is showcasing the skills and dedication of elite athletes from around the world. At the same time, Paris is preparing for the upcoming Summer Olympic Games. Performance, Competition and the desire for Success are in the air!
For this reason, the SILMO Academy by IOA shines a light on Optimising Performance and Ensuring Success. This will be looked at from two perspectives – the performance of the eye-care professional and the performance of the patient. If, you, the optical professional are not successful, then you cannot provide the best services for your patients.
The optical professional has a key role to play in improving the quality of life of our patients.
Optimally corrected vision is associated with performance and quality of life for all our patients whether it be for professional reasons, educational achievement, sporting success or safety, such as driving.
Performance measures for visual health, acuity or associated quality of life will be different depending on the patient. Taking the right precautions throughout life for optimised ocular health, will help our patients to remain well, engaged, active and independent for longer. From a business perspective, having a structured plan, regular performance reviews and a desire to excel, will lead to ultimate success.
