Optical Dispensers Australia, a professional network association for Australian dispensers that was established in January of this year, made its inaugural trade show debut at Sydney’s OShow22 in May.
“It was an absolute highlight of this journey so far for us,” said CEO April Petrusma, “to be able to not only meet, but chat with our ever-growing member base and connect with them, to hear about their studies or their latest job opportunities, and most importantly FEEL their passion for the optical industry and share in that enthusiasm together.”
April starred on the Spotlight Stage during the show, sharing her insight, passion and drive for voluntary CPD, as did ODA Advisory Board Member Emanuela De Dona Zeccone, who presented on three different eyewear fashion topics to the OShow22 audience.
ODA is now busily putting the finishing touches on some other face to face events organised across the country, with Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth featuring in 2022, and Hobart and Adelaide not far behind in 2023.
