Opti returns

After a one-off special edition in May, Opti will return to its usual mid-January date, 13-15 January 2023, at the Fairground, Munich.

“The beginning of a new year always has something of a fresh start,” explained exhibition director Bettina Reiter. “It’s great that Opti 2023 in mid-January will once again provide the platform for orders, trends and exchange of information that the optics industry has come to expect from us.”

Myopia management and sustainability in ophthalmic optics will be core focus topics across all four halls and product areas.

The Opti Box Award for promising start-ups from the frames sector will also be relaunched in January. The prize – supported by Eyebizz – will be awarded live on site on the Saturday of the trade fair by an international jury of experts.

Ahead of the show, the Opti Forum XT webinar series will prepare visitors for the live event. ‘Myopia. How is the hype going?’ will be held from 7.30pm, 17 November. ‘Positioning: show what you stand for and the turnover is right’ will run 7.30pm, 8 December. Register at www.opti.de
