Following on from the previous two articles on plastics frame materials, we now turn our attention to metal frame materials. Even if patients chose to have a plastics frame, many component parts are made of metal and, of course, metal frames may be made of different types of metal as often pad arms and other frame components re made from alloys or plated metals.
