As opticians we are often called to provide many and various optical appliances – not just traditional spectacles or contact lenses. One area of growth in recent years has been sports eyewear. Many patients have struggled for years wearing their usual prescription spectacles, or many have left them in the changing room, due to not being fit for purpose of for fear of getting them broken!
