At its most basic, a tinted spectacle lens is one which helps protect the eye from bright light & harmful radiation & can also give the wearer an enhanced visual experience by lessening the effects of diffuse light & glare.
In this – the first of 2- article on tinting we will consider the **three main methods** of tinting spectacle lenses & the subsequent article will consider more specialist & modern tinting methods.
