After 20 years working as an optometrist and dispensing optician, Maarten joint Hoya the Netherlands in 2011 as a professional services manager/lens expert. He was facilitating training sessions for ECP’s and started the Dutch HOYA Faculty. Maarten is an expert in solving non- adaptation problems.
In 2017 Maarten has joined the global organization as Lens Expert and trainer in the marketing and product departments. Next to that he was a member of the international HOYA Faculty team. Since September 2019 Maarten is part of the Global education team of HOYA Vision Care.
Maarten will be giving a talk on the DIMS myopia lens and the results of the clinical trial which is leading to its commercialisation.
