The organisers of the Scottish Optical Conference (SOC), which was billed to take place on 22 November in Glasgow, have decided to postpone the event until 25 April 2021, at which time the restrictions will hopefully be back to where they were pre-COVID19.
“We felt a conference in November, or even moving to early 2021, is not in the best interests or indeed the safety of our delegates, speakers and sponsors,” explained the event’s spokesperson.
Delegates that have already booked places at the conference will have their bookings transferred to the new date, and will receive a link to a FREE SOC virtual event on 22 November.
