The IOA welcomes the Collège National des Opticiens de France (CNOF)

Welcome to the Collège National des Opticiens de France (CNOF) which has just joined the IOA as an organisational member. The aims of CNOF are to ensure the technical, scientific, pedagogical and ethical quality of the practice of the Optician-Lunetier profession; to promote initial and continuing training aimed at developing the skills needed to perform the optician-eyewear trade and changes in the visual health sector; to improve the information and security of ametropes; to promote and reward research in Optics-Eyewear and to facilitate opticians the acquisition and development of fundamental and applied scientific culture in the field of optics and to publish texts, articles, documents, studies and communications concerning the teaching and practice of the Optician-Lunetier profession.

Philippe Majorczyk of CNOF says, “The CNOF is very happy to become an official part of the IOA. We are a young association independent of any commercial chain or union. The CNOF is composed mainly of opticians and teachers. Like the IOA w want to promote this wonderful profession.”
